TIS agrees new four-year contract extension with Audley Group, the integrated retirement community (IRC) operator.
The renewed contract will see TIS manage Audley’s life safety and security, service and maintenance needs for its existing sites as well as support the rollout of its new build programme, adding a further five Audley IRC locations to the TIS portfolio in 2023. TIS will provide Audley with long-term engineering support from its growing Uxbridge office in the South-East of the UK.
The contract extension has been agreed as a result of a well-established and successful partnership between TIS and Audley. TIS has supported Audley as its trusted life safety and security technology partner across several sites for a number of years. Most recently, TIS has supported Audley’s St Elphin’s site, a complex project requiring the replacement of the retirement village’s infrastructure with a new, converged technology system.
Other previously announced work for Audley Group and its new brand, Mayfield, includes the installation of TIS’ Sentinel SmartLINK Home Hub technology in all of Audley’s new-build and refurbished integrated retirement communities. Launched in 2021, Sentinel is a non-invasive, non-disruptive monitoring and emergency call system, combined with an easy-to-use communication system which enables IRC operators to streamline the protection and care of their residents.
The contract extension demonstrates TIS’ commitment to the integrated retirement community (IRC) sector and marks a significant milestone in its growth strategy.
James Twigg, CEO at TIS, commented:
“The integrated retirement community sector is already seeing significant growth and operators will continue to need long-term support from trusted partners if they are to scale up to meet the demands of an ageing population. We’re looking forward to continuing our work with Audley Group, providing a mix of strategic design consultancy, innovative technology expertise and premium service and maintenance support.”
Steven Jeremiah, Group Asset Manager at Audley Retirement Group, said:
“TIS has been our trusted partner for many years and this long-term commitment reflects TIS’ expertise and deep understanding of our uncompromising approach to compliance. We’re confident TIS will continue to help us implement our mission of being the most trusted provider of retirement living in the UK.
TIS has continually demonstrated its vision of a technology-enabled future for our integrated retirement communities, whilst still managing to support us day-to-day with a highly-skilled team of technical consultants and multi-disciplined engineers. We believe that this partnership will continue to contribute to the well-being and satisfaction of our owners, who deserve the peace-of-mind that comes with a safe and secure later living environment.”
