Fire Alarm Engineer/Designer/Surveyor

Due to the Company’s continued success, we are looking to expand the Fire Team in the Midlands and are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Fire Alarm Engineer/Designer/Surveyor. This role would ideally suit a an experienced fire alarm engineer looking to progress their career.
The role involves:
- Assisting with design compliance including back-office support and site surveys and visits
- Attending site and customer meetings to discuss fire alarm compliance and system offerings
- Advising on non-compliance matters and issuing of technical bulletins
- Assisting with third party inspection audits and documentation
- Providing technical support to internal staff and external customers
- Carry out site surveys and produce proposals for the customer
- Always Providing a premium service to customers
- Working to Health and Safety practices at all times
Key experience / Qualifications:
- Ideally 10 years’ experience at engineer level with some experience of supervision and customer liaison
- Good IT and Microsoft software skills
- Ideally Gent trained
- Experience of working to BAFE SP203-1
- A good working knowledge of the relevant British Standards, Regulations and Legislation
- You will be a team player with ambition who is willing to learn new technologies and procedures

- A positive, self-motivated and proactive individual with a passion for fire alarm and life safety systems
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a demanding workplace
- Well organised, have self-discipline and be able to meet deadlines
- Full Driving Licence
We will offer the following package:
- Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm (Permanent)
