TIS boast new certifications
TIS is delighted to announce our latest certifications, NSI SP203-4, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 14001:2015.
Achieving the NSI accreditation proves our competence to SP203-4, to undertake work and provide clients with certificates of compliance to demonstrate to their insurance companies and enforcing authorities (such as fire and rescue services and building control) that the work has been undertaken correctly.
Adding this to our scope of work with NQA for ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) demonstrates our ability and conformity to consistently support Emergency Lighting Systems that meet customer, statutory and regulatory requirements (NSI SP203-4).
Having both accreditations sets us aside as being one of very few organisations within the industry to offer our customers this service, protecting their systems in the event of power failure.
Hard work recognised
To achieve these accreditations, we had to prove the competence and skill of our engineers and demonstrate appropriate security screened personnel.
We also had to demonstrate our ability to support the applicable modules of SP203-4 in our own internal instruction, including maintaining proposals and records, inspecting systems regularly to the required standard, and administering the required compliance documentation.
Product standards must also have met British Standards BS 5266 and BS 7858.
Annual audit visits by both NSI and NQA will require us to continue to provide evidence of delivery to ensure continued compliance in the future.
We hope the new accreditations will help to instill even more confidence in our brand, helping customers feel safe in the knowledge that their systems and people are protected in the event of a power failure.
