Our team works to NQA’s Environmental Management System standards and we are certified to ISO 14001:2015 standards in all areas of our business. The NQA monitors our environmental behaviours to ensure we are taking the necessary steps to protect the environment.

Our commitment to health & safety

Putting safety at the forefront of our company focus is imperative to keeping employees, sub-contractors and customers safe and protected. Educating our employees on our Health & Safety Management System and ensuring they adopt an ethos of ‘safety matters’, protection and wellbeing is key to offering a premium service. We have a dedicated Health, Safety and Environmental Manager who, supported by our management team, is constantly striving to improve and maintain safe environments for which we work in, consistently conducting onsite audits, risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks and safety briefings.

Empowering our staff, we incentivise hazard identification, meaning that our employees take responsibility for identifying potential risks before they happen. Their contribution is significant for capturing a safe culture with an engaging workforce.

We use the internationally-recognised Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001, the most widely used in the world. 1948

Shortly after World War II, a small group of innovative Mansfield businessmen formed a company.

1951

We expanded our operations and became incorporated as Television Installation Services.

1952

We opened our first premises on Nursery Street in Mansfield.

1952

Our first fleet at Nursery street

1960

Awarded our first contract with the Royal Navy, a relationship that continues to this day.

1986

We moved from Nursery Street to our Millway office.

1998

Moved into our current home on Hamilton Way, Mansfield.

2013

We achieved £10 million annual turnover for the first time.

2014

We opened a second office in Nottingham.

2015

We changed name to Total Integrated Solutions, to better reflect the range of sectors we serve.

2017

We opened our offices in Leeds and Coleshill (Birmingham).

2019

James Twigg leads a management buyout of the company and we achieve £15 million annual turnover.

2020

We opened our fifth office in Uxbridge, London.

2021

Private equity house, KCP, invests in TIS, kicking off a new commercial strategy and growth.

2021

We celebrated our 70th year of TIS.

2021

Launched the TIS Apprenticeship Academy.
